The bistro team
Some committed mothers of pupils of our school have founded the bistro team, which is also called the “b-team”. The reason for this was the fact that many pupils go to school without any breakfast, so they have nothing to eat at school.
The mothers wanted to offer the opportunity for everyone to have breakfast at school. The offer was to meet the following criteria:
It should be delicious, highly nutritious, fresh and inexpensive as well.
During every first long break, which lasts from 9.50 to 10.10, some mothers sell different things for food and drink. For example: Rolls with salad, cheese, ham or salami, apples, different sorts of drinks etc. The “b-team” is very popular with pupils. Also teachers buy their breakfast there.
Drinks dispenser
Since last school year a drink dispenser has stood in the schoolyard.
You get different sorts of drinks, for example: tea, hot chocolade, coke, water etc.
The prices are very reasonable.v The caretaker of our school adds and repairs the machine. At the time when the drinks dispenser was new there was a long queue. But since the bistro-team has started their service it isn’t used that frequently anymore.
